You can thank my background for that. I grew up wanting to be an artist. I also wanted to be an architect. On the surface, one is highly subjective and free of boundaries, the other structured and driven by logic and process. I was advised to pick one, that I couldn’t be both.

Flash forward a few years with my Bachelor in Architectural Studies in hand, realising I didn’t want to be an architect. Whoops.

But, I did discover that form and function could be symbiotic. Presenting ideas that look good mean nothing if they’re not driven by the right insights, or if the finer details have been neglected.

What does this mean? I have the unique ability, as a creative, to use both sides of my brain. Natural talent, initiative, and a good dose of critical thinking enables me to create clever solutions that are both beautiful and inherently functional.

Don’t be fooled, I may be a small graphic design studio but there’s no shortage of big ideas around here.

Although I consider myself quite the versatile and multi-faceted designer, I’m also a keen collaborator who acknowledges I may not always be the best gal for the job. Ultimately, the success of your project—and of your company—is paramount. I’ll engage other creatives, copywriters, web developers, animators, photographers, and go-getters if I feel we can collectively produce better results.

I love hierarchy, but only as a design principle. This means you’ll work directly with me from the initial briefing all the way through to print production (and beyond).

I work with everyone from small-scale start-ups to global giants, and I think that’s pretty great. In fact, I’d say versatility is the best part about what I do. I get to learn about different industries and cultures, and work with a diverse range of people. Although my job is very much about helping clients meet their business goals, I sure do learn a lot from them in return. How cool is that?

Regardless of scale, every project is approached with cheery optimism and true excitement for the journey ahead. Go forth!
